Today's Highlight: programming the VCR to work with the DirectTV remote.
Today's Lowlight: getting grumpy with Kristin. apologies, babe
Everyday that passes by convinces me that I really, REALLY need a job (or at least something to fill a minimal 8 hours). Paying bills = not cool. Sitting around house all day = Cabin Fever Bum-Out City
On a good note: college football season has begun. The Zips are not a college football team, but i do enjoy having the tv on every saturday (i know, today is thursday) in the fall. think of it as background distraction sound - it got me through school weekends last fall.

i really wonder how many people still think i live in Akron.
I LIVE IN MANSFIELD, born and raised MANSFIELD.
not having class for the rest of the week is pretty boring actually.
AOL still cannot seem to block asshole POP-UPs. call it a bad day

blogger has been so slow to load these days, i give up trying to post.
yesterday was BACK TO SCHOOL. i actually got to campus early and met up with my cousin, Thadeus, a FRESHMAN DORM DWELLER. i felt so old being around three freshman honor students in their dorm room. actually, yesterday was the first time in my Akron U career to ever be inside a dorm room.
CLASSES:
World Civilizations - Japan: my teacher resembles a 70 yr old Murdock (see: A-Team) missing three front teeth. he is very lively and i think class will be entertaining despite him telling us that he is "a real SOB". his opinion on rap music was right on target.
International Business Management- a lot of the same old faces from last spring. professorsaurus is foreign, very understandable, and funny. i was introduced to a gorgeous 6 foot-tall girl from the czech republic. it pays to have foreign friends that know other foreigners.
now comes the 2 week vacation from school thanks to upcoming Labor Day. speaking of Labor Day, this weekend i better be seeing the Izgherian sibling duo, Marky Janca, and the Udicki Sisters i've already booked to see Sylvia and Marianne.
seeing The Fold last night at the coffee shop was a good time. it wasnt that whiney of emo music. they also presented a good Christian message.
apologies if this post failed to humor you. it was meant to be informative as to where i have been and what i have been doing

my 5 year high school reunion is coming up in less than 4 weeks, meaning i have 4 weeks to grow a beard and/or put my life into ruins so my classmates can have a moment of introspection and say, "well at least my life isnt as bad as jason metzger's."
Peter Sabo and Nick Pfeiffer were the true reasons to see the youth choir this summer. the show in Ontario was good b/c it contained both crowd and choir clapping. a pete munther draped over my left shoulder set the mood for the evening, keith freund drawing 1/3 of the choir's faces on an envelope.
remember what is said in the gazebo, stays in the gazebo.
i wish ana udicki would call me sometime during her busy schedule. and ana, i highly doubt i will be in Brunswick Hills this sunday. i could try to get there but getting there right now is a 10% chance.

It is hot.
Unbearable.
with school fast approaching so are the deadlines. therefore i have worked hard under the gun (and radar) to compose the 4th installation of The Palomar Files and a resumé for a bank job. speaking of resumés i went with the ideal of "if you can't beat them with brilliance, befuddle them with bullshit". well not that much BS went into my resumé. being named to NASA's Mission to Mars team is not all that great considering Mars is not a planet.
I Love the 70's is a truy excellent show, mking VH1 better than MTV by this MUCH.
someone tell nicole her writing is Atrocious and not funny.

and i see the babysitter's cub is quite the blog hotspot. too bad i only liked it when it was ANA and NELLY (KRISTIN r.i.p.). back to the basics my girls!
yes i got my daily lawncare done for the day and YES Richland Bank called me after i cried about them.
Adobe Photoshop is my new favorite game.

ive been gone over a week from the INternet. here's what has/has not happened:
Has - i went camping in Canada, encountering flak from the border agents. Georg Pfeiffer is a good camper
Has Not - heard back from Richland Bank. i need them to call me before i have to become a go-getter and call them myself.
last night, keith and i went to Cord Camera to try to print out digitally altered photos. we know what to do now and what machine we need to use. i have some pretty tight pictures to make...

you ate the Super Nachos too?!?! Touché!
i believe tat if the Indians want to bring more fans to their ballgames they need a definite gimmick. try:
flaming bats and/or flaming baseball
somebody on the team wears a cape during their at-bats.
more baseballs to the weiner would be a BIG plus too.
peter sabo, Edmonton's hope, is in town right now. i hope i can say the right words to him this evening.

i am tired. there i said it. akron was prepared for my badass this morning and posed no resistance to me applying for graduation. it only cost me $10 too. Willie Nelson is it right now for me. i think he surpasses Johnny Cash as my king of country. all too short phone calls with ana will always be better than no ana phone calls.

i'm leaning towards buying a Lomo Smena these days but i better make sure i can hold down a job first.
Amy Katanic is getting married FRIDAY at 5PM, KEITH.
Thursday morning i am applying for graduation and Akron can't stop me.
Also in the mix, i am thinking about painting my room. two color schemes possible: browns or blues.

to ana: if waiting for phone calls kill you, try being ME ME ME ME ME.
theres 90% of a mowed lawn outside. the Lawnboy decided to lay down (with its weiner out) and die rather than stand up at fight the good fight against ragweed and nut grass.
when you're keith with no tooth and a kidtoucher beard, dont go looking for trouble at the DairyMart.

the second season of SLAMBALL is upon us as of 11pm tonight. Keith and i have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2 new teams and our old favorites like Chris ghettobird Young and Mason Gordon.

did it rain, oh how it did! my dad's car got flooded but i was smart and slept in until 1230pm rendeing my day already useless, hence i didnt have the motivation to leave the driveway.
in essence, today was a total drag. i did watch "trading spaces" with my Mom and ate a good dinner. my flat tire is irrepairable (if thats not a word, i just made one up) leaving me to eat a rough estimate of $80 -Dad says try to make Ford eat it.
i also find myself on the warpath with the University of "Crap"ron. i discovred that i am narly 3 months past due on my graduation application. WHO THE HELL FORGOT TO TELL ME THIS? my advisor, who's cool, bless her heart, but still i am pissed at.
