In a whirlwind change of events, I have been moved off one bad-ass project and onto another sweet project. My stint on the North Bass is over, at least for the next 2 months and I'm taking over the reigns of the North Rim project for the entire month of July. The "Rim Job" as I like to refer to it, has apparently has its perks with FREE showers, a gift shop, and encouragement from the Park to explore*. Next comes August, where I'm currently slated to lead a 3-week expedition to the Grand Teton Mountains. Rumours have it that our campsite will have an ELECTRIC FENCE surrounding it to protect either us from werewolves or the Grizzly Bears from us. I do have the Bear Knife and I will be bringing it. Is it wrong to say that I except some Jurassic Park-like action around the perimeter of our camp? Maybe not Jurassic Park, but definitely Congo-like action minus the white gorillas and replaced with black wolves and/or Kodiak Grizzlies. Don't even waste my time with weak-ass Black Bears or Coyotes that reak like poo. I love my job way too much at this moment and that is not a bad thing though I would've given anything to go to Key West with Nicole and her aunt last weekend.
*denotes - when I say encouragement to explore the Park, I mean take a day off of work to do so. I don't know if that bone will be thrown to me and my hearty crew and I don't know if my work ethic could except such a generous perk. We'll play it by rear I say.

This why we don't blow whistles
Word from the streets say I may be in line to lead a crew to the Teton Mountains for 3 weeks sometime this summer. Two words for this: Haaaa-T.
