Say Hello to the Angels- Angel's Landing, Zion National Park, Utah
Had a "Summer Fun" weekend spent in southern Utah the past three days. Camping in Zion National Park was the life especially when you're drinking from skeleton goblets.
Bryce Canyon is amazing. The rock formations found there are mind-blowing. Serious.
Lake Powell and a sunset over Horseshoe Mesa capped off a great trip.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KEITH
Going to Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks this weekend. Sounds like Summer Fun!
Oh yet another classic 80's Night and I thank my boss for not firing me on account of my choice of attire last night.
PSS if you're considering watching the movie "The Cave," do me a favor and DON'T. I felt as if I was watching a rough draft. More holes in the script than the characters were lost in.
Keith's current
housing situation parallels this story very eerily.
Day Off Number 5 of 11:
Slept in until 11am, watched "the Forgotten" with DaveUK. 3 loads of laundry and no dinner. On the eve of yet another 80's Night I need to get a good night's sleep tonight.
FYI:
I'm single again but on good terms. I'd prefer to lose romance over friendship.
PSS Have I really created 31 photo albums on Yahoo? If you have all 31, we need to talk.

Am I Lucky or What?!?Back from only four days in the White Mountains, helping AZ Game&Fish prepare trout genocide aka "the Final Solution." Not really, but seriously, they're going to kill fish eventually. All part of the Master Scheme to reintroduce the Apache Trout, an endangered species, back into its native environment. I had a really good week with another Dynamite Crew. I was happy despite the heavy rains that frequented our camp.
So now I have 11-12 days off (I start up on 9.21.05) and there's talk of a roadtrip to possible Zion/Bryce Canyon or Los Angeles (Lost Anteaters in Spanish). LA could pan out to be quite nice given the fact that Keith will be there. Either way, a few days outside of Flagstaff would be nice.
where has my writing style gone?
* - look at March 2003 for, in my opinion, some wild social commentary.
I figure that I've put too many self-portraits on this blog although it's about me...

Time Well WastedHola amigos!
It's been a while since I last rapped with ya, but I've been criss-crossing the continent in serach for all that is both good and bad in the US.
I was in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks for 3 weeks this past month and just finished up the last week of my North Rim Grand Canyon project.
80's Night fell upon the volunteers and myself last night and it was a really good time. The French guys refrained from dancing shirtless on stage and no one got kicked out. I got kicked off the stage thrice for reasons I still find unclear. I drank this (______MUCH_____) but fortuntately the $.25 drink special ended at 1030pm and I was sober enough to drive home at 330 in the morning.
Rock climbing tomorrow with a chance of recreational camping Saturday night at Sunset Crater.
Yeah, a quite boring post I put up here but at least I'm ALIVE (with the fever and the passion)
