I've been consumed by the holiday traffic and the holiday madness. A slave to retail, i cannot even find refuge at home due to the influenza outbreak of 2003. Playing nursemaind and whipping boy to a 50-yr old man isn't my idea of a quiet evening at home.*

* - i am referring to my Dad although he's pretty much slept 20 hours today and has not asked for anything. I'm just looking to pass some blame for my inability to put together a successful day-off.
