Rain Delay - part II.
My final project to the Grand Canyon has once again been delayed. Apparently it has been raining constantly, turning the road we'll drive into a river. The plan now is to sit tight for two days and try to go up there on Sunday. With two MORE days off, there's talk of visiting Zion to kill time. Oh, I did the shopping for our crew and came in $90 under budget (I was $150 under but we needed oreos, chile-lime chicken, and strawberries.) I rock.
Since I thought today was my departure, Conny and I made our long good-bye this morning. Heck, that was tough to do and now I have to re-do it all over again come Saturday when she really leaves? C'mon, C'mon. Two more days with Conny? I'll take that. Wait, that means we get to go to Charley's tomorrow, have free tacos, and half-price drinks. Thanks, Mother Nature.
I broke down yesterday and bought The Dave Chapelle Show: Season 1 on DVD. Hilarious. The whole house just sat glued to the TV all of last evening. I went to Olive Garden for dinner and ate like a king.
